The Massachusetts Department of Revenue has put a bank levy on my account for owed child support but I have the pay stubs proving Ive paid. I have already submited a bank levy response form but after calling them they said it could take up to a week to start the review proses. What is my next step and who should I contact?

Sorry forgot to include that they never notified me before doing so. The state says I owe for 3 month and I have proof it was deducted from my pay check.

There is no requirement that they notify you. And there is probably not much you can do to speed up the process. You could try to file suit to release the funds.

Could I file a lawsuit against the state for the fees and repercussions of such a levy?

You can try, but unless you can prove this was deliberate and malicious, I doubt if you will win anything.
