I have a 28 year old boyfriend who was out in the woods here in central Florida and got bit by something on his left calf. His leg has become swollen over the last couple days, and has become hot to the touch. He is running a low grade fever and is very clammy and is now complaining that his leg is locking up. Could he be in shock, should I be taking him to the doctor. I just would really like your opinion because right now he keeps on telling me he doesn't need to go in to the er. What should I do?
