My daughter died about a year ago and I never got to see her. Her mother then said she died. I believed her cause I wouldn't think she would lie. Now there is rumors that the baby is alive what can I do to find the truth because her mother continues to lie.

Very confusing post much more detail needed. You say "daughter", yet you talk about her mother as if it is someone else. Please explain.

As your name is "Ray", I assume you are the father.

So you are saying that the child was born out-of-wedlock and your name is not on the birth certificate? And no court order that you pay child support or have visitation or custody rights was ever entered?

Depending on what state or country the child was born in, you might be able to file an affidavit of paternity to have your name put on the birth certificate. Otherwise it would require a court order. Might any way.

Why do you require such a certificate?

I'm not confused, although there are a lot of 3rd-person female pronouns, the over-use of which can be confusing.

Anyway, are you on the birth certificate? If so, you should be able to get a death certificate, if there is one.

Your post makes little to no sense at all then.

"My daughter died about a year ago and I never got to see her. Her mother then said she died."

These two sentences, are talking about the same person.

Please broaden your explanation.

My daughter died and I want proof

Idle curiosity, or what?

You are still paying child support and want it to stop?
You seek to inherit something from her?

The daughter died. OP was never allowed to see the daughter when daughter was alive. Daughter's mother has now told father that daughter is dead.

Does that make more sense?
