Your ovaries have a lot of cysts on them and may not release eggs reliably (often seen as irregular periods. Associated with being a bit harier than usual and having trouble losing weight. Retroverted uterus is not necessarily a worry in and of itself. Makes fertility a BIT lower, but NOT zero - do NOT rely on this as contraception, for example ! Many women with this have had many children. It gets a bit better if you can manage to lose weight (if you are a bit fat now).

Thank you for your answer. I really appreciate it.. I'm getting married this October and it worries me that I may not bear a child because of these results..

Lalee2012,

I hope you are being treated for your PCOS. PCOS can decrease the fertility of a woman by causing irregular ovulation. It also causes increase in the level of testosterone and insulin. So you need to get medicines to bring these hormones under control and within normal range - this will help you to get pregnant.

You may also need medicines to stimulate the ovaries to ovulate - release an egg.

I hope this helps.

Thank u DrMdmzd.. I'm currently taking metformin for my pcos. But I am having diarrhea every now n then and I really don't like it's taste. Somebody told me to use pioglitazone for pcos.. Is it safe? Can it treat pcos? Thank you very much!!
