I have had lockjaw for 4 days and have not taken anything. What should I do?

Were you bitten by a dog? Did you get a tetanus shot? How do you know you have lockjaw?

I can't open my mouth all the way to eat my jaw pops when I chew and when I talk I can't open my mouth as normal. I am a 52 year old female.

I was not bitten by a dog. I have had my upper teeth removed a few weeks ago and added an upper partial.

You might have something called TMD/TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ): Symptoms, Treatment and More (http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/guide/temporomandibular-disorders)), maybe from the dental work you had done. Call or visit that dentist or your regular one (if they are different people). My sister had a similar problem some years ago and got relief from her chiropractor who adjusted her jawbones and moved them back into alignment.
