How do i bring up my Federal Tax Return for 2010
"Bring up" from where? It depends how you prepared your 2010 return:
1. If you prepared your return using software such as TurboTax on your PC the return should still be available on your PC - just start up the 2010 versio of the software. FYI - a convenient feature of software such as this is that when you start working ion next year's return it automatically pulls the relevant data from your previous year.
2. If you used a free on-line web site to prepare your return you should have saved a copy to your PC, and you should have also printed out a copy for your records. I don't believe that the free prep sites keep your old return data on line.
3. If you would like a copy of what was submitted to the IRS last year you can order a transcript of your file from the IRS - this is sufficient for purposes such as submitting proof of income to a 3rd party, or to see the raw data for your tax return. It's free but takes a few weeks. See the sticky at the top of the Taxes forum for info on how to order the transcript.
