I had 2 shots of quervo at 11 am, wthin 30 minutes I threw it all up. I was 80hour urine tested 24 hours later and the last time I drank was a week ago but do not drink on a regular basis. My question is, will I come up positive and if so, do you think the level will be low enough to pass the test for the legal system?

EtG (ethylglucuronide) testing is referred to as the "80 hour" test. While it comes no where near detection at that time range it is effective up to about 48 hours but is directly related to amount of alcohol consumed.

Even though you vomited about 30 minutes after the two shots, the alcohol would have by then been absorbed in the majority (unless you were eating) and EtG would result.

The time span for elimination of EtG from two standard drinks (US) is in the range of 22-41 hours averaging about 32.

You will probably test positive but it's possible you could go undetected due to the unreliable properties of the test and testing procedures.

NOTICE: Any person or entity that is subjected to or relies on EtG testing should read this Advisory issued by the US Department of Health and Human Services, September 2006 and remains in effect as of date of this posting.
