Need some help with this inquiry please. I have a lennox heat pump and air handler. The compressor went out and luckily it was still under warranty and lennox recommended a local lennox ac repair company that replaced the compressor, but I had to pay for the labor which has now cost me appr $550.00. It ran great for a month or so. Now I will have the AC on and all of a sudden the Heat switches on. I turned the power breakers off on the airhandler and the thermostats and waited till the next day and turned it back on and it ran fine. The next morning the heat came back on. In the mean time I called the local lennox ac repair company again and they came out and shut the unit off and back on and it ran fine and they said it works and left; my wife was home Now I pay this genious another $65.00. Within three days it did it again and I called and they came out and they called lennox and they think it is the condenser motor, capacitor and the fan blade. He did mention the rversing valve but he acted as if he wasn't sure. Please help me. Oh yeah lennox sent the parts out and they were the wrong ones and now looks as if I'm going to have to pay for them coming out with the wrong parts that lennox sent them also. The correct parts are suppose to be on order. I have been taking off work and running back and forth I have about had it. Please help with this nightmare. What could it be and what should I do? Oh yeah everything is controlled by a Z controller or something of the sort like a circuit board.

Are you sure it is going into heat mode or just blowing warm ambient air into the living space. Big difference on a diagnosis

It's blowing heat and I have a z-controll panel that show the temperature that is coming from the unit/compressor/heat pump. The temperature went up to 122 plus on the z-control panel once the A/C switch is turned on calling for cool air. I need help tech just left and he identified it was the condenser problem after he ran numerous test. This is bad my wife has been through eye surgery and had a stroke and now she is having to deal with this. My wife has been a real sport but, she's had it. Now If this is not resolved swiftly I will have to contact a lawyer within the next 24 hrs. If you can or know of a solution can yo uplease help. The Heat Pump system is still under warranty and the way I see it right now is the fix is a whole new condenser unit. What do you think I should do?
