So today I told this girl that I've known for a few weeks that I like her, and she responded that she doesn't want to hurt me, or anything and said she likes me, but needs time to decide what's best for her.

She went on to say that she doesn't want a relationship right now because of cheerleading and its her fault, and she's sorry, and wants to make sure she has time to see me and not hurt me?

I'm a sophomore in high school and she goes to a different school. I really like her and want to be in a relationship with her in the future. But what should I do?

Cheerleading doesn't end till like November or something.

Wasn't that the sweetest rejection you ever heard? Forget her for now, and look around at other options and opportunities to date, and have fun. Just saying while you wait for November.
