Can laperoscopy to remove endometriosis increase the risk of Primary Peritoneal Cancer?

Primary Peritoneal Cancer is very rare in any case. Any invasive procedure has risks. However, laparoscopic surgery is the least invasive compared to open abdominal surgery. Removing both ovaries does run somewhat of a risk of developing PPC but it is very rare. If experiencing continuing or reoccurring pain it could be from a number of reasons... not all the endometriosis was detected and removed, infection, scar tissue, etc. which are all treatable. Seeing a doctor for any unknown health concerns and getting a second opinion if so desired is wise. I hope this is only an exploration of information. Unless you have been diagnosed with PPC, having health concerns is fine, but issues are more than likely less complicated as PPC to repeat, is very rare in woman and less rare in men.
