View Full Version : Example of a ANSWER to a Complaint

Hi, I got a Complaint today from a Attorney. For a credit card debit I don't remember having this account. And I need to answer the complaint in 21 days but I don't know how.. I also need to have the attorney Validate the debt any example letters out there or any advice on how I do this?

Any help would be Appreciated

If you look at the stickys at the top of this forum as well as some of the similar threads in the forum you will find many examples.

I am either blind or not seeing what I am looking for. I have never had any issues with a court before. I don't know what a answer is or what one would look like
Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, in the Complaint there are accusations (for lack of a better word so early in my morning). For each numbered paragraph, you have to answer those accusations. It has been my experience in the legal field (10+ years as a legal secretary) that for the most part, when answering each of these allegations you answer quite simply:

Neither admit nor deny.
