I have a Leslie Cope painting, signed and dated 1963. It was given to my Mother at that time. The size of the painting is 24"x20" and is framed. It is a village scene with a windmill and house side be side. It the background are 2 more houses and landscape. In the foreground is a horse and cart, and there are 3 or 4 people also in the painting.

I am trying to find out the value of this painting, if anyone can help.

If you are near Zanesville, OH, the art gallery can help. His wife is a patron there. I have paid up to $1,000. For an orig oil of his. This is an unusual scene for him, especially from that time frame. He usually painted Amish type scenes, though one I had was from a village in Europe.
