We changed heating elements in our hot water tank and after flushing air out of the plumbing lines can't maintain water pressure. We tried advice from another of turning on all faucets inside and out which did not help. My husband let air out of the expansion tank and now well pump short cycles if we run water. What do we do here. Please give thorough instructions. We now have water pressure and it is great BUT the well pump constantly runs if I water the garden. We also have never heard the well pump run before and now we can hear it. I do fear that my husband may have bled off too much from our expansion tank and has waterlogged it.

Let's recharge your bladder tank. And go from there Shut the pump off at the breaker box and open a cold water tap to bleed off the pressure.
You will see a air valve on top of the tank. The PSI on the bladder tank should be 2 PSI UNDER the cut in point on the control box. In other words if your pump cuts in at 30 PSI the tank should be charged at 28 PSI.
That should stop the short cycle. Does that get it? Good luck, Tom
