Do I still get child support if my child lives 50/50 with me & my ex husband ? We don't have the custody yet. In this case I'm not working.

It will depend on where you live ( if in the US , even what state) each state in the US has its own rules and laws on how child support is determined.

In GA for example, they take the time each have the child. so in 50 / 50, is it really 1/2 and 1/2, like one has child a week and another, or will it be closer to 60/40, in GA they will determine the estimated days and get a percentage. Then they look at the difference in income, if you are not working they will assume you an income at about 30 hours a week at min wage ( at least) They will assume you should be working.

Then they will come up to see if there is chlld support due.

If it is, it will be a somewhat low amount, not enough to live or pay for the child, it may only be 10 or 20 percent of the full amount if you have full custody. If even that much.
