I sold an item and got paid by a buyer who bought a few items from me before, time before last he made a big mess for me by claiming item is not as described (100% false) after 3 weeks he admitted he just needed money back and paypal rules in my favor

Not he bought something again for just over $1000, I told him I won't ship until I have money in my BANK ACCOUNT because this is something I sold for a friend so I don't want any problems

So I requested withdrawal on Thursday, status was pending and today, Friday, it changed to completed. I know it takes 2-3 days until it actually shows up in my bank account but my question is once status is COMPLETED does that mean money left PayPal account, in other words if he decides he needs money again and complains can paypal stop/reverse payment immediately? I just want to be sure money gets to my account, so if he plays n idiot again paypal can only freeze my account until this is resolved, since I want to pay my friend his money right away

I wouldn't trust this guy. I don't know why you didn't block him from bidding since he messed with you once before.

Anyway, I may not be dead on but I believe that Paypal can charge back even after the money has gone into your account. If there is a dispute after some time, I still think they can get their money back.

I believe odinn7 is correct... as long as your account is linked with Paypal and active... they can reverse charges... and that's what makes it risky for sellers.

Personally I would recommend getting hold of someone from paypal... best to get some answers right from the horses mouth so to speak.

He made problems for me once, 2 times before it was all good and once after so I figured it's OK.

Hard to get anything from PayPal but it states on their website as far as taking money from bank account they do not do that unless authorized by the account holder (ie when paying for something using bank account as funding source).

I'm trying to see if once status says complete it means money LEFT paypal and it's on the way to the bank, so paypal can't just cancel that transfer
