In my early pregnancy I had a uti which was treated. Around3/12 months I started to get a yellowish very smelly discharge not really itchy no burning. I had a pap smear and something came back positive I guess saying I have a bacteria in my Virginia. My doctor told me that it'l be treated while I'm in the hospital I'm guessing after birth. Do you have any idea what this bacteria is called, why do I have it, and is my unborn baby safe?

One possibility might be Group B Strep. It is not uncommon and would often require you to receive antibiotics during your labor. It would be a good idea to give your doctor a call and ask about what infection you have, how it will be dealt with, are there any alternatives, and how it may effect baby.
