I got pulled over today for driving on revoked and I'm on probation for a dui. I haven't reported this to my probation officer yet, I was driving home from work and got pulled over and now have a court date. Will my probation officer violate me if I explain the situtation, its hard to pay the fines without a job. Thanks

What are you going to explain, you were not really driving ?
IF.
1. you knew your license was revoked
2. you were driving
What are you going to explain.?
You can make excuses for breaking the law, but you knew it was wrong and decided to do it anyway. Then you did not report it right away, but I assume you are going to wait till the next day ( or longer ?)
Only he knows what he will do when you call him.

My probation officer doesn't take calls during the day so there is no way for me to report it to her until my next appointment which is in two weeks. I was going to explain that I was driving home from work (didnt have any other way to get there today) I know it was wrong but its either miss a day and risk my job or try to get away with it... Apparently it was a bad idea cause my tags was expired. I planned on telling her when I go in for my appointment I just don't want her to violate me and I have to take care of that warrant and then have this issue out there. If I go to jail it'll be no less than 120 days (3rd violation) and I wouldn't have time to get a lawyer.
