As 17 is the age of consent, legally this is acceptable, although I would be more concern about your parents..

Thank you , I've been told the only possible way he could get in trouble is if my parents were to press charges against him is that true ?

What charges they would press is another question entirely.
As a parent myself I would NOT be amused at all with this situation..

This would be my second child just a different father and I'm sure my parents will not be amuse with the news
But I'm going to sit with my boyfriend and parents and tell them what's going on .

This depends on when you conceived or became sexually active with him. Yes the age of consent is 17 in TX. And since he is more than 3 years older than you, there is no close in age issue.
And no, your parents aren't the only ones who can report it. Your doctor can, the hospital, your school can, in effect anyone can. If he started having sex with you before your 17th birthday, then he broke the law. And frankly, any 25 yr old who has sex with a 16 (or 17 year old) needs to be dealt with. I don't know what your relationship is, but its likely, it will not last.
If you conceived prior to your 17th birthday he is in deep trouble because there be conclusive evidence that he broke the law. Even without that, since you have another child, if it can be proven that you started dating him before 17, I think a jury would convict.
I certainly hope someone stops him from preying on young girls.

It seems another man is guilty of statutory rape, but unless this one had sex with her before her last birthday, not this one.

What I'm saying is a jury will look at the fact that the OP was sexually active before she started a relationship with this 25 year old. And, if other evidence shows she started a relationship with the 25 yr old prior to her 17th birthday, then the jury would be likely to believe that sex began before she turned 17. Showing conception occurred before this birthday makes it a slam dunk. But even if it did occur after, there may be enough evidence to show sex began before.
