My thermostste is requesting heat red light on
The heater does nothing yellow, code light is on steady

You can jumper R to W at the thermostat if it works you have a bad thermostat. That system is a condensing furnace check to see if you have a condensation pump that has failed if water backs up in the pump it opens the circuit going to the unit.
