My dryer works fine it just finishes its cycle time runs out and instead of staying off it'll automatically turn on. I am thinking either the relay is bad or the start switch is bad please help.

You need to use a meter to see if start switch is stuck closed, also you have contacts in timer that are stuck closed. What is the model number and make of the dryer? I can give you a manual.

The dryer is a kenmore 70 series. Thank you
