I met the girl, real nice, and we became best friends but I found myself starting to like her and she forced me to confess and everything was all right, until I spoke to my BFF and got enough courage to ask her out, and suddenly, she couldn't talk to me normally, look at me, and eventually I got a no, but she's still distant and I learned that every time I'm brought up, she either talks about me asking her out, or she tries to change the subject, does that mean that she hates being around me?

Maybe she hates being pushed to give you a sate. Back off and do friends, or leave her alone since she has already rejected your advances. To keep pushing is annoying, and irratating.

But all I've ever done is ask her out, I haven't done any other advances and now I'm aiming for friends, and you can say that I've backed off aplenty, the only times we talk is before school and after school and we don't talk a lot then

So why are you aiming for anything? Friendships, and relationships flow naturally, and forcing either usually pushes people away from you, not attracts them to you. Leave her alone for a while fella, and that means more than JUST backing off a little bit.
