I'm surprised she was given a report without her doctor present. The doctor should be the one to advise the next step, perhaps a biopsy. Surgery if needed after that can often be done using laparoscopy even of malignant cysts (of which there are several kinds). CA-125 is not a definitive test, but is useful as part of an overall assessment. She might want to ask about an immunoassay marketed with the name Ovasure, which uses a panel of blood markers (leptin, prolactin, osteopontin, insulinlike growth factor, macrophage inhibitory factor, as well as CA125).
But again, none of this takes the place of what her doctor knows about her. Many cysts are given a wait and see approach, with frequent examinations. Different kinds of malignancies have different treatments and outcomes, and you don't even know if it is malignant or what kind it is if it is.

Of course you are worried! Reading can help, gathering as much information as possible, and asking her doctor.
