I have a 3 yr old son, and his father hasn't been around since he turned 1. I left him after finally having enough of him beating me and the second it got physical with my son. My son was born in KS, we lived in MO up until 1 month ago and now live in CO. His father never did anything for my son even when we were still together trying to make it work. His mother was the only one who ever did anything for my son and I'm just wondering if there's anything legally they can do to get my son in any way. Goes without saying my sperm donor is a POS who still lives with his mom, only tried contacting me once through fb maybe 3 months ago, no job, just smokes pot all day and video games. He hasn't done a single thing for my son, hasn't paid for anything. Wondering what I can legally do to make sure he's never a part of my son's life should his mother ever try to push him to do anything. Any advice would help please and thank you.
