Hi,
I was married through civil wedding int the Philippines, and after 1 year 9 months the father of my daughter left for Canada.
He did't come back to us , he totally abandoned us, especially my daughter. Now it's almost 27 years, that he get connected through famous networking. Now he told me that he cannot petition his daughter to go to canada. But why?
I don't understand why cannot petition his biological daughter?

Thanks,

First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread especially when it has nothing to do with the other thread. To avoid confusion your question has been moved to its own thread.

But your question is unclear. Somehow he contacted you over the Net. But what does he want? Does he want your daughter to move to Canada? What petition is he referring to?

{Mod Note: This was a piggyback moved to its own thread, the title was guessed at. <>}

So this is 27 years latter, so the "child" is a adult ? Does this adult child want to go to Canada ? I would assume the child wants to move to Canada and you want him to sponsor the immigration to allow child to move there ?

I don't understand your question -

It appears to be an immigration question. Perhaps someone in the Immigration Law Forum will know whether she can get a Canadian visa under these circumstances.
