I really like this girl Tamara, but I use to date a friend of hers Kaela, who I'm scared will be mad about the whole situation. In grade 10 we were good friends and both kind of had a crush on one another, I was going to ask her out but I wanted to wait until I had my license. Then during that summer I met Kaela and we dated. Then all 3 of us were friends, but now since me and my ex broke up, were not friends anymore. And I realize now that Tamara is better for me. How can I get to know Tamara better again without it being awkward, and my ex getting the wrong idea? Thanks

Do you respect Tamara's friendship with Kaela? If you pursue Tamara and she responds like you want her too, it will most likely end her friendship with Kaela. You seem to be concerned only with what you think is best for you. Having a “kind of had a crush” moment is no guarantee being with Tamara will work out for you either. It sounds like you're not over Kaela emotionally since you are concern about her reactions if you did see Tamara. Get ready for the fireworks and I don't mean party time!

Talk to Tamara alone, it is possible to have different groups of friends. Just talk to her and tell her how you feel, keep your ex out of it.

Its up to her whether she will chose you over her friend, or if indeed she is willing to give you a chance. All you can do is ask her about it, and see what she says.

@FirstChair - well not really cause Tamara is so nice and polite and kaela is the opposite. And I'm over kaela I'm only concerned what she will think because she is very dramatic and abusive so shell probably make a bigger deal out if it than it is
