I had my gallbladder removed in September of 2011, ever since then I have been having rather strange stomach pains. They happen about three times a month and ate always around 2 or 3 in the morning, waking me up. The only way that I can describe the pain is wave... it starts on the right side of my upper abdomen and"waves" to the left, and this will happen continuously for about 45 minutes.
I have been tested for ulcers, Gerd, and IBS--nothing ever comes back positive. I have tried a low acid diet, antacids, and even an elevated bed... but honestly its not acid related. A friend of mine suggested celiac disease, could this be from having a gluten intolerance? I have noticed that I have started to bruise easily, as well, though I doubt that had anything to do with my stomach. Any information would be extremely appreciated!
