Do all popcornceilings have asbestos? We bought the house 5 yrs. Ago it was build in 1977 and I startet to remove the popcornceiling,was not aware it could be a health problem.

During the mid 1970;s they became illegal most of the late 1970s were not asbestos Most of the asbestos was done in the 1950;s and 1960;s. Some was done thought he mid 70's.

It is not a issue unless you go to remove it, as long as it is not disturbed they are not a issue what so ever.
