There is a very likely possibility that I'm jumping straight to drastic conclusions here, but I just want to make sure.. I haven't had a proper period this month, but what I have had is very light and brown, once a day and it came a week earlier than it should have, and has been happening for about a week and a half now.. could it be implantation bleeding? It could just be irregularity since I started the pill (Cerazette) a month ago. I've ruled out STDs since me and my boyfriend are each other's first sexual partners... I've also been very emotional lately, like crying for no reason. I'm just really worried because right now I'm ashamed to say that I'm only 15 and I really don't want to be pregnant. Help!

If you don't want to be pregnant, to be slightly direct, you don't have sex.

First you do know that birth control pills are not 100 percent. And often have to be taken for a full month before they take effect

This could be from the pill or it can be pregnancy. You have to wait till it is time for your period and if you miss it then try a pregnancy test.

Hi Clabssss... welcome to AMHD,

Really reconsider having sex at 15 for a number of reasons. Physically a pregnancy can cause you some health concerns, which in turn can be a risk to a pregnancy and baby. Obviously you are not in a position to be able to care for a baby, nor is your boyfriend, so you would be relying on family to help. This could pose a financial strain to your families.
Since you really don't want to be pregnant or have a baby right now, the ONLY way to prevent that is to not have sex.

It is wise that you are using the pill, but that is not 100% effective so pregnancy will always be a possibility. If you decided to continue with having sex, your boyfriend should be using a condom every single time.

Given all of that... odds are that the discharge you are having is from your body adjusting to the pill. Most women never see implantation bleeding, and if they do, it is usually for only a couple of days.

Could you be pregnant? Certainly... but you won't be able to find out until your next period is due.

Since you are ashamed to say that you are having sex at 15, that should tell you right there that you just aren't ready for the possible consequences that go along with it. Tell your boyfriend that you need to hold off on the sex until you both are older. If he gives you any indication that he will leave you if you don't continue to have sex, then dump him fast. If he really cares about you, he will put your health and welfare ahead of his desires.
