I'm 26 years of age and for the past 9 years my period has been irregular, I bleed sometimes for a month sometimes even two (not always heavy). I went to my doctor and he said that my hormones are unbalance so he prescribed microgynon and instructed me to take them for three months. The problem was fixed for the three months that I was on the pill but when I finished the problem resumed. My husband and I want to start a family but this problem is making is near impossible. What do you think is the problem because birth control pills only seem to be a temporary fix?
