I was bit wy a rattle snake 7 days ago. I am at home. I am having pain in the bitten leg, finding it gets worse as the day goes on. I am walking on the leg. I am also very tired from the bite. What can I expect in terms of recovering- symptons going away, recovery times?

The fact you are not dead now is a good sign. Did you get anti snake bite medication, did you get the poison vacuumed out ( sucked) of the infected area. About 20 to 25 percent of rattle snake bites do not transmit any poison. But there is still serious worry about infection from the bite itself.
The poison will get into the blood, and start doing damage to various tissue and organs of the body.
Assuming you do "recover" you can take up to a couple months for effects not to be noticed, you will not completely recover of course, since the damage the poison does to the body is still there.

I was in the hospital for five days for this, of which time I got anti-venim for 48 hours, with 6 hours in between. I was also given a tetunas shot. I am wondering what to expect now that I am home.
