I have a 4 brm home and use about 150 gals a day... Currently we have a 33 gal well rite tank. It seems the well tank is drawing down a lot calling for water from the well. Would a larger tank, 86 gal? Tank be a better solution. The water pressure drops considerably when the tank starts to draw down... Suggestions... Also is changing out a pressure tank as easy as a one connection swap? Thanks

Changing a tank is not a big deal.

Putting in a larger tank would help with your pump cycles. The pump would cut on/off fewer times, which is good for the pump.

If pressure is you concern, you might try increasing the cutin/off pressures for your pump. You have an electrical pressure switch which controls the pump. Under the grey cover are generally two nuts. With the power off, turn the large center one CW a couple of turns. Check your pressure cutin/out points. Continue to adjust until you have increased the two points about 10#. See if that works better for you.

How old is the pressure tank?
