It is possible, as even plan b is not 100% effective. Or you could be pregnant from the sex on 4/5.

However, it is also quite likely that the plan b has caused your cycle to be off. You could wait another week and, if still no period, try a pregnancy test. If it is negative, wait until the end of May and see if your periods get back on track.

@ doula... also my doctor explained to me that I haven't ovulated yet for the sex on 3-30-12 she said I should have begin to ovulate 4-8-12?

You may have ovulated around 4/8, but you may have ovulated sooner or later than that. The 4/8 is going with averages, and to have an average, you will have some naturally sooner and some naturally later. The plan b may have altered things for you as well.

If you did happen to ovulate on 4/8, the sex on 4/5 certainly could result in pregnancy because your body would have been preparing for ovulation at that time. This allows sperm to survive for a few days in hopes of meeting up with the egg that gets released. It's not automatic, just if the timing is good, but it does increase the odds.

Basically there are times in a cycle where pregnancy is more likely to occur and times when it would be unlikely, but not impossible.

Again, your period may be off this month just from the plan b, but it won't hurt to try a pregnancy test after several more days for the peace of mind.
