What is the statue of limitations in drug charges in the state of pa?? The reason I asked is because my son in law was never arrested but the police keep bugging him and it's been a long time and they haven't even pressed the charges. They keep harassing my daughter and she is 6 months pregnant. And they are also threating that they are going to send the sheriff's over to her house and we live in state of Ohio. It's been like 7 years.

5 years would be the statue of limitation. Are they bugging him trying to get him to give info on other drug dealers ?

They are saying they will come get him if he doesn't turn himself in... meaning the sheriff's here in Ohio. They said if he turns himself in they will let him get bail. If he doesn't he will be sitting. I'm not understanding them at all. It's a big set up.

But if they wanted him why didn't they come a long time ago?? That's what I would like to know

If he was charged and there was a warrant issued, then there is no SOL.
But how are they harassing him, who is doing it, in person, on the phone ?

They are pending charges and it's the state police of Pennsylvania, and by over the phone.
