As I do sympathize with some situations... I think this law is in need of some refining! I got out of the army about a year and a half ago, and have been in the process of applying for va and ss disability benefits. I am currently fighting emancipation of my daughter whom is almost 20 years old and has been out of school and not living at home for over a year. She has been living with her boyfriend... my court date is next week and suddenly they supposedly have to move in with her mom. Obvious timing if you ask me! Anyway I have not been able to work and support arrears are up to 10000. If she wins emancipation case I will loose all that through garnishment and I know my daughter will not get her share... anyone have any advise? Im tired of supporting the mother, her husband, and their kids... while they work minimal hours and party it up. Please help.
