Looking for the name of a Christmas cartoon that most likely aired in the 1980s, ran about the same time Nestor the Long Eared Donkey was on and only aired 2 to 4 years. Had a lion, that represented good and ended up sacrificing himself for who or what I can't remember. He was tied to a table and shaved of his mane. Ultimately he won over evil since he gave himself up to be killed. Does this sound familiar to anybody out there??
