Anyone got any experience re the optimal settings for group policy regards roaming users that are going to be using variously good/bad links from NextG through to DSL, sometimes they will be within the corporate WAN, sometimes outside. Usually these guys will plug into a branch office about once per week, the offices usually have a slow NextG connection - very occasionally they will come into head office/high speed connection.
Questions is really, how do you balance ensuring they stay up to date without chewing all the bandwidth at your branch offices where they use Citrix?
Mixture of Win 7 and XP clients latest WSUS sp3 (which is working well inside corporate office).
Anyone has tried/failed/found the best compromise with WSUS - would appreciate feedback.
Cheers.
Chris.
