Ok I lost my virginity when I was 12, turning 13, and I am now turning 14, and I have this boyfriend who isn't a virgin, and I know that he isn't.

I was wondering if I should tell him that I have lost mine because I want to be honest, but I am scared that it will wreak the relationship that we are in.

The first thing you must learn about relationships is that you do NOT have to tell your boyfriend or partner or husband everything that ever happened to you in your life. It has nothing to do with "trust." And never give out your passwords--to ANYONE. If your boyfriend says you have to tell all your secrets and who you dated before him and if you had sex before he came along plus give him all your passwords or that means you don't trust him, BALONEY!!

And the same for you. You do not ask him for his dating and sex history from before you knew him. And you don't want his passwords either.

Exchanging personal information and passwords are the biggest reasons couples break up--because then they decide they don't trust each other and begin snooping and checking up on each other. Any trust that WAS there is now gone. So don't go down that road.

My husband and I don't even open up each other's mail or check each other's cell phone calls and messages. Oh, and we've been married for almost 45 years. And we trust each other.

What you both did before you dated each other is you business only. Period! And if he tells you different he is being silly. If he has also engaged in sexual activity he has no right judging you. You are both too young to be having sex.
I would also add that if you are engaging in sexual activity you are practicing safe sex. Neither of you are old enough to be parents and god forbid you are exposing each other to STD.

Whatever you do, don't talk about ex's. Ever.
