I have a Goodman GMP 100-3 Furnace that will not turn on. It is part of a heat pump system. I cannot get it to do anything. It will not heat either by the gas furnace or the heat pump. It will not cool on the a/c setting. It does nothing. The blower fan does not turn on if I set the thermostat to "fan on" instead of "auto fan"

The thermostat is an electronic unit with a lcd screen and battery operation. It makes an audible click if you set it to either heat or ac. The thermostat seems to be working correctly.

I believe it is the control board. I was wondering if there is anything else I should check before I get a new board. Also is there a way to check the board? Thanks in advance

Check main breaker for indoor unit. Also check ssu fuse and board fuse. If they all check out, I would suggest contacting a hvac company to come trouble shoot the system. The board is always the last thing you want to replace just on a guess. Sounds more like a power problem, but you don't want to replace the board without knowing for sure that the board is bad.
