A triangular garden has sides that can be represented by three consecutive integers. If the perimeter of the garden is 15 ft. What are the lengths of the sides?

This is a very simple problem. Simply take your amount of 4780 times 5% interest to get your answer of how much interest is earned.

So: 4780 * 5% = Your answer

A mixture of acid and water is 35% acid. If the mixture contains a total of 40L, how many liters of pure acid are in the mixture? How many liters of pure water are in the mixture?

If acid is 35% then 40L * 35% = amount of Acid. For water simply take 40L minus your answer for Acid or 40L * 65% to get your answer because 100% - 35% = 65%

Setup:

n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 15

Here's the set up - lt the first odd number be N, then:

N + (N+4) = 13+ (N+2)

Now slve for N
