I have three dogs all different breeds, Sadie, our English Bulldog was one of our previously owned rescues. She is a high energy skinny bulldog! When we first got her, she had skin sores and drooled incessantly. One vet visit and a change in her horrible previous diet fixed that. We have had her about a year now and she has been a great dog, but suddenly, after having absolutely NO problems with sleeping in her crate, she has started pooping in her crate EVERY night! Not just once, but two to five times! She doesn't whine to go out, but lays in the poop and whines afterward. It ranges from hard to very loose stool. I feed her twice a day, 1 1/2cups in the morning then 1 cup in the early evening.
I am getting very frustrated, as I have to wash her on a daily basis. She is losing weight due to the diarreaha at night, as she was only 47lbs to begin with, now she I can see a weight lose!
I feed her Iams, and plan on changing to a grain free food due to other sites I have read on.
Is there anything else that anyone can suggest?
