Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could help me with this? :) Anyway, I was born with standard Penny/bright red hair! I was always so proud it it and enjoyed all the compliments. I took great care of it! Then at about age ten, it faded a tiny bit to kind of a brownish/ red color, but still was bright red!

Now I am a teenager in high school and it suddenly faded much more dramatically to a brownish/orangish/red color and the red does not show itself too much... it only shines brightly in the sun. Indoors it looks mostly brown and I don't like it. I never added damage like dying it or applying too much heat to it. I don't understand why it happened...

Anyway, I would like to find a way to enhance the red and let it show itself. I don't want to apply chemicals and damage to my hair. I don't want to go to a hair stylist and have them try to help me because that costs way too much money and usually messes up for people. So I am thinking about using easy, inexpensive ways to enhance my red hair color and bring out the natural color and shine to it! I was thinking about using home remedies, or something easy... I hope to hear from u guys soon! :) Thankies lol

try henna

I am a redhead as well and I have found that using henna helps just be careful adding too much will make it an almost unnatural orange.
