My husband is adjusting his status to Permanent Resident. He has completed the biometrics and turned in his physical and affidavits of support. The judge asked if he filed for a work permit and to do so right away. He also has to apply for a social security number. I thought that the work permit would be sent to him after the last payment... can someone help us here? There are more INS Forms to fill out and fees to pay? Very confused any advice is welcome.
