My boyfriend spent 8 years in prison and was given 6 1/2 years probation. He has paid all court costs and owes nothing to the state. He has been a model citizen since his release and I want to know how he can be released from probation early?

Well, you got to apply and you got to do it in writing. Have him ask his PO for the written policy and procedures manual for his department. In there, will be a paragraph dealing with early release. It will list the criteria. In your application, don't ASK, but tell them that you (your bf) meets the criteria for early release, and leave it at that. If they turn him down, they'll need to specify why. If their "why" isn't so, you have grounds for an appeal.
