Hello,

First of all thank you for reading.

I really need help from people with experience in leading with piercings.

I have an eyebrow piercing, which I always treated with care; I have it for about 6 months and never had a single problem before.

Now, suddenly it started getting swollen and red, and has pus... It's clearly infected.
I removed the piercing, washed it and put the piercing on again. I have been washing it with (for a day now), but the effect is not instant - and I've been freaking out about it a little bit because lately I'm very anxious. I think maybe it's not something that bad, and maybe it will get better; but I'm such a negative person sometimes, so I'm making a drama out of it.

I really need some advice... I need to be relieved. It is very important.
If you know anything about what products to use; anything I can do to make it heal, anything I should eat/drink etc. or if this ever happened to you... Please reply to this post, it is very important to me.

Thank you

Apply any antibiotic cream on it if you can. That will help depending on how severe the infection is. Try that and see how it goes, if after 4-5 days it still hasn't healed then you'll need to see a doctor for an oral antibiotic!

Thank you. :)
My friends say that it's unnoticeable; so I guess I'm really making a drama, but the bad infections must all start like this.
I stopped by the pharmacy today and they recommended me a cream/ointment called Bacitracin, with vitamin A, etc.
I really hope it gets better soon.
Thanks again :)

Hello,
I just wanted to update this post; so if any of you readers ever have the same problem, you already know what you can do.
So I've been cleaning my piercing daily, and using a bit of Bacitracin on it; and since the second day, I can tell the redness was reduced significantly. :) It was fast. Now it is much better. It was still a little bit swollen like 2 days ago, but now it's getting perfect again :) I'm glad I went to the pharmacy and the lady there recommended me this ointment. I highly recommend it. The only thing is, in the pamphlet it says: Make sure you don't use it for more than 7days; if it doesn't make effect, contact your doctor.

And that's it. :)
