I and my boyfriend used the withdrawal method when we had sex on the 3rd of April (this month). That day was the last day of my period.

5days later, my stomach started feeling full and my upper abdomen hurt so badly for 3days. Since then the pain has been changing locations.

This morning I woke up and felt really light headed. My left lower abdomen hurt so badly and still hurts. Went into the bathroom and realised I had a very light brown vaginal discharge. I am yet to see if this discharge would continue or not.

I know I have to wait for a pregnancy test but I think it's still too early.

Any time you have sex with or without protection you can get pregnant - nothing is 100% "safe."

I'm sure you are aware that the "pull out" method is totally unreliable, and you have been taking chances.

There is no way to know at this point.

Yes I know I took chances but right now having read a whole lot , I think I had ovulation spotting. The brown discharge did not continue and the one I had was mixed with my normal discharge. Calculating where I am in my cycle, I should be ovulating now... so I guess I had ovulation spotting.

Thank you anyway.

The withdrawal method is the least effective method of birth control. Unless done exactly properly, its almost as bad as no protection at all.

So yes, you wait until you can take a test and see.

There is a good possibility that that is what you have experienced. Some women have it every cycle, some women only now and then, others never at all.

Yes, you could be pregnant if you happened to ovulate early on, but if this recent discomfort and discharge were due to ovulation, you would not be pregnant from the sex at the end of your period as the sperm would not have survived this long.

Does anyone have an idea why I feel these excruciating pains in my upper abdomen? I know I wrote the vaginal discharge stopped, but it did actually start again. It is only visible when I wipe. It is also stretchy.

I'll be seeing my doctor tomorrow morning. Can't wait really

I had sex (pull out method) on the last day of my period ( 3rd of this month)

Since 5 days after that sex, I've been having pains in my upper abdomen. It does hurt so badly. Although the pain changes location, it always comes back to the upper part of my abdomen.

And oh, since the 14th of this month, I've been spotting. Only visible when I wipe. Discharge is mixed with mucus and is stretchy. My period should start on the 29th at least.

I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Does anyone know what's wrong with me?

We can only guess and they would be bad guesses without examining you. Stay calm and wait for your doctor's appointment.
