My husband moved to Maine last year to work, and I still live in Massachusetts because I'm going to college here and also working. We do not own any residencies, I rent and he lives with his father.

Can I still file MFJ on the Federal Return? If I file MFS I would loose my education credit.

Then what status should I use for Massachusetts and Maine Returns?
