Hello,

My Hampton Bay fan switch is broken. (At the moment, I am unable to turn my fan off without switching off the circuit breaker.) How do I take apart the fan and figure out what kind of switch I need?

One out of 20 posts here are about problems with Hampton Bay fan switches.
STOP buying these things folks, obviously they're worthless.

Thank you for responding to me. I managed to figure out how to take the fan apart. There are five wires connected to the fan switch. I bought a fan switch at home depot and am going to try to connect it.
