My boyfriend has what he claims to be a friend at work. Early when I was finding out about her, I asked what is so special about her. He said she has a really cool personality. Then I asked how her personality is like and he said its like gravity. Also when him and his coworkers went out to lunch she went with them.

He took a picture that seemed like she was the main focus of, but there was also another guy in the backseat next to her. He wasn't paying attention in the picture though. I asked him about the picture and he said he was trying to do a surprise photo and catch them looking silly. All these little incidents led me to believe he liked her initially. After moving on from that and making up, to help better our relationship, I attempted to act more secure by saying he can be friends with her. He replied and said he was going to stop talking to her altogether.

Lately after work when he comes he has been telling me they have had some conversations because he feels a little awkward just walking by and saying nothing, but the conversations weren't anything significant just small talk. He says he doesn't want to keep things from me or lie to me to help better our relationship, but him talking to her is making me feel insecure again. Is this okay?

She is a co worker, they have to at least be friendly or work would be an awkward place. Don't argue over this girl, he seems to be doing his best to do the right thing, so lighten up.
