Hello,
I have been on the pill (Tri-Sprintec) for almost 2 years, and for about 4 or 5 months I was off it. I never had any problems with my period on or off the pill then. I went back on again in February of this year (2 months ago). In February I had a nasty cold while on my period. In March, I had an unusually light, almost to the point of not needing a tampon or anything (brownish) that was about 2 or 3 days late and lasted a very short time. The same thing happened this month (April) and I also have the flu at this time as well. My "period" (if that's what you want to call it) came on time, but was very very light and a brownish color. My boyfriend (of 4 years) and I have unprotected sex, but not very often, maybe 4 or 5 times a month and he pulls out each time (I know, not the best method). In March, I was not very good with my pill and missed one day (took it the next day) and maybe 3 or 4 days of the month, I took it a little later than my regular time. This past month I was very good about it and took it at the same time every day. Is my body reacting differently to my pill or could I be pregnant? I don't feel any different, just concerned about my period being drastically different than it used to be. Thanks for your help!
