All right I'VE GOT A FRIGIDAIRE stove and last night the wire behind on one side of the bottom element came loose I suppose and arc'd on the back of the stove . It obviously burnt the end of the wire and connector... Now I changed that end of wire and plugged the stove back in ,and all I got is the timer blinking... no stove and no oven working... I need help... took the circuit board off to make shure there wasn't anything apparent... would it be the 220v thing that would be out of phase so it would only get power to the timer ?

You burned out a fuse or fusible resister. The only way to find out what is wrong is to trace it out with a meter and wiring diagram. I hope you used a high-temp terminal on the wire that attaches to the element or it will burn up again because regular terminals will melt. These stoves use both 120 and 240 volts, so it appears only one leg is working. Check your outlet first because you may only be getting 120 volts to the stove.

Here are the manuals that can help you: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Frigidaire%20Stoves.zip Copy and paste link to address bar to download.
You gave no model number, so we cannot know the right manual, but many are close in the way they work.
